Hook N Book is a fundraising charity event. Supporters of Hollenbeck PAL first agree to be arrested. Then an ominous yet humorous arrest warrant is generated, followed by their subsequent “arrest”. They now become JAILBIRDS and must raise their bail. Participants recruit friends, colleagues, and family members to help raise money for their “Bail.” Photos and sometimes video are taken of the “arrest” so that jailbirds can use it to raise their bail. Supporters of each participant can make tax-deductible contributions of any amount to help raise the minimum bail amount. This year’s HOOK’n'BOOK Fundraiser will be held at:
